A brief summary of recent changes to Minard. Have questions or want to suggest a feature? Please reach out!
You can now import any Google Sheet with âSharingâ set to âAnyone with the linkâ simply by copying and pasting the URL into our importer. For documents with multiple sheets, weâll automatically import the currently open sheet:
Itâs now possible to publicly share your visualizations (see our examples gallery for inspiration), as well as to embed Minard visualizations into another website. See below for an example embedded visualization: đ

Behind the scenes, Minard keeps track of all of the changes you request and shows the changes in the Edit History pane on the righthand side of the app. In addition to a description of the change, you can now click on any change to view the visualization at that time point in its edit history. For your own visualizations, you can also undo and redo changes using âZ
and âY
, respectively (Control-Z and Control-Y on Windows or Linux).
Often, youâll create a visualization, filter or transform the data, and then realize that youâd like to continue the analysis, but also to keep your current version. This is now possible by using the menu to the righthand side of the chart. By default, your copy will be called â(Copy) Your Visualization Titleâ, but you can click the title and update it.
Weâve improved Minardâs backend to improve performance for datasets with hundreds of thousands or millions of records. Hereâs a real-time example using 3M data points of US flight delays (link to data):x
